Questions of God and the Bible

I think many times Christians and anyone is puzzled by many things that people say about God and parts of the Bible..  There's something that comes into my mind that I keep pushing in the back.  Something that doesn't seem to make sense and then I take some individual's explanation instead of going to God or the Bible about it myself.  I've seen people leave the faith because of a nagging issue they just can't deal with--  Why does God allow war like Iraq?

Let's use this post to bring real questions to the table and discuss them.  (If anyone wants to do this with another book from another faith prevalent in India, please go ahead and do so.)  Why doesn't Christianity add up to you?  On what points?  And what is confusing to you about what the Bible claims if you are a Christian?

Here's my Scriptural question from my recent reading.

Proverbs 24:17-18

"Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles; Or the Lord will se it and be displeased; And turn His anger away from him."

Do not rejoice when your enemies fall into trouble. Don't be happy when they stumble. 18For the LORD will be displeased with you and will turn his anger away from them.

17Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
18Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.

Why does God turn His anger away from someone else on account of me?
